I want to get a boost from the engine using a computer based mod. Some sort of Jet chip or something. I'm not familiar with any of these mods, so I'm asking for links or something where I can purchase these and get some hard facts about them. Thank you very much for reading my post!

From almost everone that has told me about these chips is that you dont gain anything, or that the gain is so little that it doesnt justify 93+ gas or the chip cost. Some people have told me that with a jet chip they loose power @ WOT...and only see or feel a gain with 35%-70% throttle applied.

I would not chance the jet chip and i would go for a PCM flash.

i have a stage II jet chip (works much better with cold air-type intake and colder thermo)
ill sell it for $150 o.b.o..thats $100 less than i paid for it, only used for about 500 miles.

i have an r/t...was not impressed with the gains...we put it in my friend's 3.9L dakota, and we were VERY impressed with the gains...don't know about the 5.2 or 4.7 or 2.5 motors.. the booklet that came with the chip said it will work for the jeep 4.0, dodge 2.5, 3.9, 4.7, 5.2, 5.9L motors, basically any dodge where the pcm has three big plugs (one white, one black, one gray)
go to jetchip.com and look at their dyno results.
