Subject: BG Flash.... M1 or Regular IP: Logged
Message: SinCity, R/Truck, Dakaty, anybody ?
I have a 2002 R/T and will be getting the BG flash next month. If I were to get the M1 flash, would I neccessarily have to install the M1 intake in the near future ? Do you think it would work o.k. with the kegger stock intake or would I be better off with the regular flash ? I want the most out of the flash, but I dont want to screw anything up in the process.

Message: I don't think the B&G flash is the best choice at the moment with the DC code about to hit the streets. Others will have access to the software shortly and Dave is a bit overpriced even at $530 because up until now he was the only game in town. Leach Co. will get '01 and '02 base tables tomorrow which puts them back into consideration.
Save yourself some money and shop around a little and keep your ears open for other options.

Message: With Mike Leach getting the programming for the newer trucks, we may want to see what he has to offer before we do the BG falsh. Besides, we weren't planning on doing ot til late December anyway. Right now, Leach does flashes for 2000 and down for $450. Maybe he will keep the same price. But until I see what all mods Leaches flash will do, Im still in on the B&G flash.
