Subject: plugs/cap/rotor - buying info IP: Logged
Message: wanted to post this cause I spent about 30 minutes making sure I was getting the right parts. I don't have a napa within 30 miles from me so I ordered these parts right on the site and paid 4.95 for shipping. Anyhow for reference here are the part numbers and such.
Purchase from: https://www.napaonline.com/
Item# Product Description Quantity Price
ECHMO26 Distributor Rotor 1 $ 3.29
ECHMO29 Distributor Cap 1 $ 9.99
ASP3923 Spark Plug 8 $ 1.09
Subtotal: $ 22.00
Shipping: $ 4.95
Tax: $ 0.00
Total: $ 26.95
*which is a few bucks cheaper than speedtweaks plus u know napa will ship promptly.
**Echlin is NAPA's brand, in the case of the cap/rotor they are actualy manufactured by the same company that makes the borg warner cap/rotor, they are identical.

Message: If I had a camaro then I'd have to buy the movie Rocky and then run around acting like a whop. I don't have a vhs player and I doubt the original movie is available on dvd so I'm kinda screwed .. I'll stick with my R/T

Message: Don't listen to the nay sayers. Just punk asses with nothing better to do than try to piss people off. But it does sound like you are using stock equipment, if you are replacing them for maintanence reasons, then you may want to upgrade your ignition for a little extra money. Maybe Accell, or MSD. Just a thought. Best thing you could do to check the parts is call a Napa store and get the part numbers from them and see if they match yours.

Message: I've been away from this site for a while. Now I know why. Too many children. Thanks for the numbers, pixelenvy. I did use Echlin in my truck for a while. Their brass didn't last any longer than the stock aluminum stuff did.
BTW, I have a Trans Am. Does that count as a cheap imitation of a Camaro?
