Message: I was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is on my '99 Dakota 5.2L. I have a K/n filter charger and a raven dual exhaust system. Takes off from the start but hesitates at about 3-4 Rpm then has power again. Also when doing about 50-60 on highway and trying to excelerate the truck seems like its in too low of a gear. Anyone know what the problme is? Thanks

Message: What kind of condition are your plugs and wires in and cap and rotor also. Its somewhere to start. Could also be a real bad injector or a bad fuel pump maybe.

Message: Well I'm not sure on my plugs, wires, etc. the truck only has 34K on it though. So I'm actually not sure when those should be checked. I'm new at trucks so I really have no idea what is going on. I thought a little about fuel because it seems like at those hesitation times its not getting fuel, and then all of a sudden there it is and the truck is a rocket. ????
