Subject: info for thoes who have a M-1! IP: Logged
Message: i have read that the fuel rail spacers that are used on the M-1 are too long. they dont let the injectors sit down in the bosses like they should. if you cut 3/32" to 1/8" off of them, this will allow the injectors to sit how they are sopose to.
i cut them down yesterday, and WOW. i didnt think it would make a diferance, but it does!! it seems like the powerband is a lot smoother, and the top pulls harder than it did before. its not going to give you 20 HP, but it helps. and its free.
-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, 3" carsound cat, dumped gibson

Message: Where did you get your M1 one from and how long were your spacers originaly? I don't even want to think about tearing up my spacers without knowing what others are starting with.

Message: i got the manifold from speedtweaks (but was drop shipped from mopar). i have no idea how long the spacers were.
i was told the were too long, so i took them out, pushed down on the fuel rail and tried to put the spacers back in, and they would not fit.
i used a bench grinder to take off material a little at a time untill they slid in.
