Subject: Torqueing Torsion Bars IP: Logged
Message: Ok, so i dont think i spelled any of that right...
Ok, torqueing them to lift the front of my dak... good? bad? completly insane? I read someplace that people where doing this to get an inch or 2. Is this ok to do? i was thinking about doing it on mine, but then i remembered that i dont have a clue on how. Could i possibly do it myself or do i need to take it to an alignment shop. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Message: You can "crank up" your bars to gain a few inches of ride height. When you crank them up, you put extra load on the bars. The down side is that your ride will be very stiff and your suspension travel will be limited. I know alot of people who have done it but its not the best way to get a lift (although its free LOL)
