Subject: Looking for reputable shop IP: Logged
Message: I am located in Southern Maryland and am looking for a shop to have my 3.55 gears changed over to 4.10's as well as to install a posi. The only shop I have dealt with down here is AAMCO in California MD. I am wondering if anyone can recommend another shop other than AAMCO.
Thanks,
DakQC

Message: I am about 45 minutes from Crofton, Down Route 4 near Solomon's Island. You know, where there ever famous Tiki Bar is at. When I call Brian who should I say sent me and what price should I expect to pay to have the rear-end upgraded to 4.10's and Posi installed?
Thanks,

Message: Tell him Lewis sent you. I'm really just a parts guy Brian does the labor, But for example 3.73 in a mustang w/parts and labor is around $500. I have been to the tiki bar a few times and my cousins live around that area.

Message: Hey DakQC,
I had my gears change in my 01 QC from 3.55's to 4.10's. The gears and install kit I think was around 350 and the install labor was that or more. I think the total came between 750 and 800. You will love the 4.10's!!

Message: Thanks Smittyt2, I think I am also going to be installing Posi. So I am looking at ~$1000. How is your gas mileage since the gear change?
