Message: In my HO manifold I make a o-ringed plug to go into it since my 2000 IAT is threaded. I guess you could even just buy another sensor cheap enough....

Message: I've seen some guys on the board just buy another IAT sensor then leave the original where it is. Makes it easy to switch back for dealer visits too. Apparently they are only about $20
Cheers!

Message: Had my IAT relocated for just over a month and concluded that although it gave slightly more power, it caused some pingin to occur at WOT or under load. Put it back prior to last weekend for I had some PA travelin ahead of me. Runs much much smoother now without the pingin. Funny thing is, I wanted to make sure that the pingin was really gone while in the hills of PA so I took the rev limiter to the test as well....got her to 5500 rpm and could've went more(probly) and I never hit the limiter. OEM puter on her still which strikes me as a bit odd. Shouldn't like 5300 be it or am I just fortunate?
