Subject: Tire Question IP: Logged
Message: I've heard people say that you could mount a
set of ET Slicks on stock 15" wheels. I was
thinking of getting some 28x11.5-15 ET
Streets. My stock rims are 15x7's. Mickey
Thompson recommends 15x8 rims. Did our
trucks ever have 15x8 rims from the factory?

Message: Yes, the Dakotas had 15x8's from the factory. They were available on the 97-00 models, then Dodge switched to 16x8. You can usually find the 15's pretty cheap on ebay.

Message: slow2dak, I've got 4:10' with a no slip.
Troy, I've got a set off of a 2001 Sport, on
E bay the same wheels are advertised as
15x7's. Thats my question are they 15x7's or
15x8's.
