Message: i live in WA and its not hard to drive.. unless your trying to go somewhat uphill from a stop and its wet out... i plan on getting some treated 2x4's and cutting them so they fit side to side in front of and behind the wheel well in the bed and connecting them with short peices of 2x4 basically making a box.. throwing some sand bags in for alittle weight... not too much though.. just making the box to keep the bags right over the axels

Message: well i updated my profile..had a few mods to add ... not many though.... i would try the weight and see how that goes before you go getting a 4x4... or you can wait till i do it(which wont be long)

Message: I live just north of WA in BC, Canada. Lots of rain here. I've driven two R/Ts over 3 years and never thought twice about driving in the rain. Snow is a bit of a different story. But some sand bags and a smart right foot, no problem.
Never had a problem in the rain. Never got away from me or anything dangerous. Maybe it's cuz we get enough rain here that it isn't too foreign to drive in it.
You WA guys check out the NW R/T group mailing list? And www.nwdakotartclub.com ?
