hey i own a99 rc rt. just wonderin if i could take a gt stang. ive got a gibson catbackw/flowmaster muffs,jba headers,jet chip,complete msd ignition,kn intake,underdrive pulleys,falken hrated 275/50 tires.how bout a ws6.
can anybogy give me a 1/4 mile est.
i plan to do a tb,m1,crane gold rockers,xpipe,possibly
100 shot.
what would i be runnin then.

i stang gt would be close. a ws6 would definitley beat you. but it does depend on conditions and drivers as well.
i would say your truck runs around a 14.9

What year Mustang GT are you racing? If your truck isn't in the high 13's, you won't win (unless the driver is not experienced). I've seen plenty of 13 second cars go high 14's/low 15's due to lack of experience. '00-'03 GT's are high 13 second cars stock.

U won't win against the stang unless you have the M-1 installed...they can rev alot higher and get more power out of those higher RPM's. If you don't have the M-1 your powerband is dropping off at 4000rpm's whereas the stang has power up until about 5200-5300rpm's. Back when my R/T was pre M-1 I had hung side by side w/ that stang for awhile till he started reving really high and thats where he started to pull me.
So get the M-1 and some roller rockers and U'll be there.

i dont know about them runnign high 13's stock
mabye its just me but ive ridden in my friends and it feels nothing like 13's ridin in it
i mean ive never felt 13's but i feel my dakota (mabye 22's?)
but ive felt 12's unless 12s are that much faster?

Now dont hold me to this but on (www.Fast-autos.net), its an all exotic car site, they have the 01 Mustang GT rated at 14.1 and the 01 Mustang Cobra Rated at 13.5.
If these numbers are true or not I know not... but thats what that site says.

ive seen tests of them running pretty close to chose times.at the track they dont seem to do that well.
