Message: Why is the gen2 K&N supposed to be so much better than the gen 1 Chrome 360 ones? Anyone custome fit a Gen 2 K&N to a 3.9l Gen II Dak?

Message: The thought with the gen II intake is that it gets cooler, denser air from the front instead of sucking up hot air from around the top of the motor. I think someone here has modified one to fit the older trucks. It can't be that hard, same engine and TB layout. The only stuff that would most definatly be different would be the placemet of a support bracket on the fender. You would probobly have to fab your own.
