Message: I have a '98 club cab 5.2 4x4 + 44re. I currently have added a hypertech module, edlebrock headers, k&n cold air kit, and a cat-back dynomax exhaust kit.
I'm would like to run low 14's. If this is even possible, what would give me the best bang for the buck. I'm considering a shift kit, hughes tb, intake, valves, cam, nitrous, ignition/coil upgrades, supercharger... I really appreciate any suggestions you can give me.

Message: With a 4x4, it's not impossible...just slightly harder to do since you now have to turn two driveshafts and a transfer case.
A modified throttle body, 180 t'stat, MSD ignition system, and 4.10 gears will help you out in the "quest for speed".
If you're really after some HP, contact Randy Pile for a Powerdyne Supercharger. That will definitely put you in the high 14's (if not mid 14's). RP3141@aol.com

Message: Thanks Bernd. The supercharger seems a little expensive from what I've seen, but I'll contact Randy. What is your opinion of Nitrous Express's 50-150hp kit for the Dakota? Also, does a modified TB sound like a better mod than a more aggressive cam?
