I was wondering how many other people have a MEGENTA colored Dakota. They only made this color in 97. I haven't seen to many around like mine, 318 reg cab 5 spd 2wd. Is it possible I may have a rare truck?

it must be kinda rare i've got 1
but i have only seen 5 others and only 2 in my area
i think it's the coolist color on these trucks

I've got a friend with one, 318 AT 4x4, there are like 3-4 others in our town. But we're a huge dodge plant town so in comparison to the # of daks it's small.
K&N, '01 wheels, Window Tint, Harley-Davidson badging, red underbody kit, ext.
Window covers, Harley-Davidson mudflaps, custom cat-back exhaust,
head/taillight covers, ventshades side and rear, ram air on the way. Autolite 3923s, 180 T-Stat

Couldn't be TOO rare as the color for my 2000 CC is called Magenta Red. I'll throw a pic in here soon of it and the paperwork.

Do you mean magenta as in a true magenta printer's ink color, or that Barney purple colour? There are 2 Barneys in my town.
