 Subject: skipping on idle

I started up my dakota the other morning and I was anxious to hear my dak pur when it skipped for about 5 to 10 seconds. I gave it a little hell the night b4 but I thought that it was good to give your truck a little hell every now and then. Is this related to it or is it time to change the plugs. I have only about 45000 on the set of plugs that came from the factory in dec. of 96. the guy that I bought it from had not changed them yet.

I would. Put a set of Autolite 3923's in there. It'll run like a champ.
