Subject: Intake Help IP: Logged
Message: Okay, so I tryed to make a homebrew intake on my '92 318 today. I got it all on there and everything and went to go test it out. It seemed like it accelorated more sluggishly that it did before. I have a drop-in k&n filter right now, but it was really disappointing when the intake didnt work. Has anyone found any good air intakes for a Gen II dakota, cuz I havent.

I put on one of there systems and I really like it. I have a 94' and I think this is the best intake for the gen II.

Message: You have to call them. It is a one size fits most application. I'll give you a run down of the pars to get:
14x3@110 - this is the air hat
14AL/CCover - top cover
14AL/Dbase.5 - base, i believe this is the right one
Then get whatever tube and filter you want. Standard 4" tube fits along with standard duct fittings.
