Message: Well... I'll say the F&B.. since I sell 'em and build 'em.. and use 'em...
LOL.
Can't go wrong with Billet TBs... ask around... If you have a 5.9L... they are the ticket for a modded unit.. otherwise the F&B 50mm works awesome...
Buy it, try it, like it, keep it... Don't like it, send it back for a full refund. Can't beat that offer!

Message: Just how many choices are there in the 52mm TB market? Seems like they may help you in your decision....... (at least a little bit).

Message: RTman I have the 52mm F&B TB and its a really bad@ss TB helps on performance and looks great. I've had my airhat off numerous times and people drool over how nicely F&B puts their TB's together.
I recommend F&B! Buy it from that one dude up there sounds like he's got a good deal going.

Message: There are currently 4 producers of throttle bodies for the 3.9/5.2/5.9L engines: F&B, Fastman, APS, and Holley. The Fastman and APS units are remanufactured stock throttle bodies, if I remember correctly the Holley is based off the stock TB but with new parts/bore, and the F&B is a new throttle body made from solid billet.
From the data that's been assembled, the F&B flows the best, the Holley is probably 2nd, then the Fastman and APS TB's are probably going to be very similar in flow rates.
The F&B and Fastman TB's are by far the most popular units. I've got a 52mm Fastman on my truck and like it - I would have bought a 50mm or 52mm F&B but I couldn't afford the difference at the time.
I have pictures, data, and links to all 4 of the TB's on my website.

Message: Oh.
Well, since I've been really pleased with the F&B on my 4.7 motor, I'd say that I'd go with F&B for my LA motor if I had an LA motor to begin with.
