Whenever i put my truck into drive, or when i pull up to a light my truck idles down to like 500 rpms. I do know that my trucks idle should be around 800 rpms. The truck has even died once cause of the low idle. Whats goin on? Please help

Sounds like a good time to clean the IAC and the TB while it's off

IAC = Idle Air Control Solenoid

My truck was doing the same..The dealer found the intake gasket sucked in. This helped it and lately they reprogramed the computer. They said there was a couple earlier reports on this.. Try this and see what happens

Well it seems like my idle problem has gotten better. I think my truck needed to get used to the new pump. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
