I believe just the general machine work for a rebuild: align bore, cylinder overbore, and general block clean up. The stroker crank replaces the stock 360 crank, with no other clearance notches required to the block. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

Hey big_torque
Pics of a 408 Bottom end

I noticed that he had to notch the lower block to clear the rod bolts.

I hope this helps

Yes you will need to machine notches for the crank.

I strongly recomend having the block align checked and bored if needed.

Find a good machine shop one that does race engines, dont use a regular machine shop that only does rebuilds there pretty clueless about this kind of machining.

Good luck. Scott
