Has anyone ever put a larger air cleaner on their V8? I noticed today that the air cleaner from an older Mopar that had a 4BBL carb will fit the throttle body perfectly. That should give 2 options, the low profile 4BBL air cleaner that was
on cars, and the taller 4BBL air cleaner that was on trucks. Either way, you get to run a larger air filter. I tried the low profile one, borrowed from my 79 Volare, and will go to the junk yard this weekend and find a taller one from an older truck, as there is plenty of room above the low profile one before you run into the hood.
