Hello All,
I have a '97 Dakota, It is a regular cab 2wd with a 5 spd and akkkk....the 2.5L. Here is my Question, I am looking into swapping the 2.5 for a 4.0 out of a wrangler or a cherokee. I know the 4.0 is basicly a 2.5 with 2 more cyls. Besides having to swap out the ECM I am wondering if there is anything that needs to be modifide/fabricated like the oil pan(I can't remember the exact shape). There is not much that would be impossible for me to do, since I am a 2nd year Auto apprentice. Any info would be helpful.
