Message: Rob,
That sucked!! I went out, ran a run after heat soaking my fuel rails, and presto (you called it) Jap crap everywhere and I couldn't get the to go!!! Only stayed for one run! I'm not happy. It was the worst times I have ever done (even without blower). It was 97deg on the track and my plug wires were shot. Spattering and bucking off the line. AHHHHH I'm makeing new wires tonight. This is just wrong!!!! I still could have wooped on most of the ricers even as messed up as I was. hehe
I'm off to Reno for Hot august nights, Damn it!

Message: There's a rice event this weekend. That's why I go with the advice of a friend and show up on a friday night, preferably when something is going down somewhere else (like Sears Point). Last time I went I got 8 runs in an hour and a half, some of them not more than 4 minutes apart :)
And as far as the lanes go, the left lane feels a bit rough on the launch pad and doesn't have as straight of grooves, expect all the fast cars to be put in the right lane during test and tune nights.

Message: Good advice on waiting for a big event at another track. I did that at Woodburn when PIR had a big meet in Oregon. Great runs.
Ya about 7:40 is when we left. There were way too many cars there.
I'll be in Reno untill Sat night after the cruz. Leaving today.
