Message: I also have a 1998 3.9 V6. I don't have dual exhaust but I have a single in single out Flowmaster Delta 40. The sound is amazing and is louder than my brothers 01 R/T that had the stock muffler. The sound inside the cab is not too loud and outside or during idle it sounds as if I have something other than a 3.9 V6. My brother has since changed his muffler to the single in single out Flowmaster Delta 40, but mine is still louder. It may be due to the JBA headers, Air Raid intake and ported and polished throttle body, but anyways still louder than my bro's 2001 stock R/T. HE he he he he!!!!!!!!!

Message: I've found some sound clips of the Dynomax Ultra Flo and the Magnaflow mufflers on the web over the last few days. Engines were Chevy V6's, but I figured a Chevy V6 would probably sound similar to a Dodge V6. The Dynomax sounded nice, but the Magnaflow had an even deeper, throatier tone in the clips that I listened to. I think I'm going to go with the Magnaflow when I replace my stock muffler.

Message: I have a single in, single out on my 98 3.9. It is a DynoMax (model number in my signature) and it sounds very good. I am over the "louder is better" stage, and this one sounds deep and nice. No extra interior noise at idle or revved. Outside sounds alot better than stock and no where near what a ricer sounds like. I love it. It was an easy swap I did myself in the garage in a little over an hour too.
