Well the truck has been ordered.

Now to ask the most important questions, What would be the 1st 5 mods to perform?. No turbo/supercharge ok....What product is best?

I was thinking

1) performance exhaust manifold w/ high flow car w/ high flow muffler. What brand name is best?

2) Throttle body + intake. Again, what brand name is best?

3) Computer upgrade

4) Under pulley, engition system, like MSD?

what would you suggest

I would go with the exaust first. I have the same exact truck. I had all my work done from the factory. I have dual exaust with flowmaster. K&N ram air intake.Custom ram-air hood. I have the mopar chip and thats all that I have for now. I want to get the JET chip but this would not be covered under the factory waranty.

I have a 2001 Dakota 4 x 4 Club Cab Sport/4.7L with the same
add-ons as Brian. All this adds up to 305hp total. It is fast & loud as
hell. I drive it silly!

If you are looking into ignitions, you need something that can work
with the 4.7's Distributorless Ignition System (DIS). The only thing
I've seen so far is made by MSD - Model DIS-4.

This truck is great & I think mine is faster than Brian's : )

Hey "Crossfire"...ya got Dyno sheets on this?

Just remember folks, all those mods together don't equal the amount of (possible) HP each one makes.

Example:
Intake = 10HP
Exhaust = 10HP
Throttle Body = 10HP
Ignition = 5HP
PCM Upgrade = 10HP
Underdrive Pulleys = 10HP

10 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 10 + 10 does NOT equal 55HP (at the rear wheels) extra. It doesn't work that way. You'll, more than likely, be in the range of 25-30HP more at the rear wheels. Each mod is designed to work in conjunction with another. They don't add each other together.
