I just got a 2000 Dakota QC 4X4 4.7 and am considering making my own FIPK with a K&N cone filter and supplies from Home Depot. Just a couple questions...
Will this void the warranty from Dodge in any way?? (removing the airbox, etc...)
Has anyone had any trouble with State inspections (specifically Missouri) when doing this?

Not sure about the warranty, but if you decide to do this, I would do it without hacking up the stock air box and stuff so you could reinstall them if need be.
As for the inspection part, I do inspections for New York State and have never had a problem with a car failing due to a modified air intake. I wouldn't worry about it.
