Message: anybody using red-line water wetter? i've got a 2000 4.7L. i was going to get some and dump it in, but the service manual says "CAUTION: do not use coolant additives that are claimed to improve engine cooling." is this just to keep people buying mopar coolant, or are they afraid people will not use coolant at all, which leads to corrosion problems??

Message: I don't know about DC, but I have been using Water Wetter in all my vehicles with truly-positive results - the all run a little cooler.

Message: If engine runs too cool your MIL light will come on. I don't know how dramatic the effect from the water wetter wil be but it could make engine run too cool. Apparently it's an emissions thing. That's what I have learned from this forum.

Message: I run the water wetter in my RT with no problems, I also run the 10-40 full synthetic redline w/o problems. The water wetter is merely dish soap!
