 Subject: Stock air inlet cover flow

I own a stock 97 Jeep GC w/ 318 V8 MPFI. I was looking at the air inlet cover (the "hat" over the throttle body) and noticed it would make the beginnings of a nice air inlet to a custom fuel injection system I am building for another car. (It's low profile design is attractive to me as hood clearance will be a problem.) I was wondering if anyone knows how much flow/HP this cover will support? I am aiming for between 350-400HP. I measured the circular inlet as 2 5/8" diameter which gives me an idea, but can't get a good measurement on the flattened rectangular portion. Thanks!
