Subject: Does this sound do-able? IP: Logged
Message: I'll be redoing my exhaust after the rougher ride of lowering my truck has broken some exhaust hangers with my large tips.....
I would really like to duals that exit before each of the back wheels. I was just toying w/the idea of the 'oval' tubing that spintech offers. Is there any way to do this???????
If not I'll be exiting each side behind the rear wheels.
Anyone running true duals on a '01 4.7 CC?

Message: Yep, you can dump your pipes right after the muffler which is just before the axle. I have two of my trucks this way and it makes for a very sturdy system. You don't have to worry about banging your tailpipes when off roading or backing into a parking spot. If you want them to come out the side before the back wheels then you may have to get a little creative with moving the muffler forward or bending the pipes back around.
