Message: Sounds like what Marty said was correct to me.
Your gettin too rich.
Reaserch ways to control your boost fuel enrichment system and you should have it figured out.

Message: How about a "progressive" fuel pressure regulator.
Once tuned in, it would maintain the fuelpressure based on the engine demands. This helps the engine-computer more preceisly control the fuel in closed-loop mode.
I know several folks that have installed a meter on the dash that connects up to the existing exhaust oxygen sensor. This meter will monitor if your engine is rich/lean.
It is also possible that your O2 sensor is just starting to get inaccurate thus telling the computer the wrong information. When was the last time it was replaced?

Message: Just a guess...
I think your fuel pressure is to high to start with. It should be about 50PSI. The FMU should bump your fuel pressure when the air boost comes up past zero.
The other thought is...
Pull the fuse out of your aux boost pump and see if it make a big difference at the bottom end. Carefull about hitting the boost without FMU.
