Yesterday I went out and experamented with the speed governor. I tried by removing the fuse for the abs. It effectivly stopped the speedo from working and I had no abs, which is of no concern. I installed a Transgo shift kit last year and it has seemed to work moderately well, but when I pulled this fuse it became alive! It held the gears longer, shifted much harder, and gave the converter a little stall. After a while I got a P 0500 code which is "haven't heard from the speed sensor lately." Why did it affect my tranny and how can I keep the shifts without throwing a code all the time? I have a 2000 RC R/T. Thank you!!

I've been wondering about that!
I'll have to try the same thing.
