Subject: IAT sensors same? IP: Logged
Message: Are the IAT sensors the same for the 4.7 as the 5.9/3.9? I have a 2000 durango with the 4.7 and want to relocate the IAT to my intake with out removing the existing one. Would an IAT from a 5.9/3.9 work? I can't seem to find one for my Durango...or they are like $45! I've heard that the ones for the other engines are $20.
Thanks

Message: Check for the IAT for the 4.7 Dakota or Ram. See if they match up as well.

Message: in 2000 the iat sensor is the same as the 3.9/5.9. in 2001 they changed it to a twist lock instead of threads.
