Just a little question on those 4.7 HO intakes anyone got any thoughts to go with them i have heard a little bit of good and bad but nothing to help me make the choice to spend the 120 bucks to get one. I did spring for the cams and the TB is coming in october.

I think I am the only one other than Matt Barret that has it on. I seems to kill a little throttle response to give more top end. I think it will work well with a bigger throttle body.

I've had the HO intake manifold on my truck for about two weeks now. Since I installed it at the same time as the HO cams, I can't really say what improvement it makes alone. However, the intake manifold and the cams together really made a impact on my truck's performance. The low-end really picked-up and the engine pulls hard up to the redline. It is a amazing difference. My truck is a 2000 RC 4x4, 5-speed, 3.92 LSD. The other modifications include a 68mm TB, an intake, and a Flowmaster 3" catback.
