I thought I would notice a change in idle with the 1.7's but everything pretty much sounds the same. How long till i can get on it and see what these things can do?

If the PCM was reset...about 50-100 miles. You won't really notice too much off idle, but from 2800rpm+, it should pull much stronger (keeping in mind that all other complimentary modifications are done as well - Intake, TB, Headers, Exhaust).
