Message: I'm sure they would since there is plenty of thread left on mine to adjust it. I guess it would depend on the extent of the drop. From what it looks like when I checked around, the slide-a-links won't fit the 01'. At the risk of sounding like a d*ck I laugh a bit to myself that they won't go, just for the simple fact that there are so many parts for the Gen III guys and seem so fuw for use Gen I/ gen II guys. Oh well, that is the extent of my fun.
If you like I could take measurements of shackles and the mounting points so that you could inturn measure your own truck for fit. Nothing worse than getting a new toy and realizing it won't fit.

Message: My 94' with the bars has front shackles that are 3" wide. On a 99' the front shackles are 2.950". THat is a pretty good difference and if nothing else you would need to find someway of bending the shackle. I have not done any lowering sice I like the idea of a sleeper. THis puts the top of the bar bracket at around 5" off the ground. Yours would most certainly be lower, just gotta make sure you can go around the speed bumps. Keep in mind, i'm not trying to be discouraging, I'm just relaying what you might be up against. I'm all about a good challenge myself. Oh, and it may say 88-97 for the bars since they were made in 97 and that was the model year truck out then, something else to figure out.
