I have been looking into getting a MP comp.for my 2000 5.9L Quad Cab.The local dealer gave me a price of $436.I found a Hypertech module for $298 which is closer to what I would like to spend. Is the Hypertech or even the Jet Stage 11 any good or have they had problems.It seems like I have seen some poor reports on the Jet Modules.

I have heard the same bad stuff about Jet. I had a Jet PTM in my '95 Ranger and it was bad. Hypertech has a good rap but it is a PTM too. I would go for the Mopar PCM I just got mine from KRC Performance for my '99 5.2. They advertise the one for your truck for $330. Check them out. Select LINKS at the top of this page. Then select PARTS on the page that comes up. Then scroll down to KRC Performance.

V6 - Jet Stage-II (No Mopar and no Hypertech)
V8 - Mopar (Jet doesn't work well on them and neither does the Hypertech PTM)
