Message: I think he's up to his ass in turbo right now. They are trying to get the TT R/T race ready for the R/T Nationals in June. Guess what? June starts in one week. They have to get everything installed, tuned, and then make several runs because Duner has challenged them to a race at that same show. They are pretty much too busy to talk about anything just about now......
PS- It's gonna be funny as hell when a single turbo 4.7 whoops a twin turbo 5.9! hahahahahaaa.....

Message: Hey Bernd?
Cool picture, but can we get a second one from the front or top looking down? Because from this angle, it looks like the output side of the Turbo is touching the alternator... another angle is required!
Ok, so I just want more pictures of this cool setup. Sue me. ;0)

Message: I agree, Duner's setup is nice, but...high 12's
is beatable, maybe the TT 5.9 will pull it off,
unless Duner has some tricks up his sleeve,
wouldnt it be dope if he was squirting juice
into that turbo'd beast ! ! !

Message: We're not out to compete against anyone...we're just building a kit that's easily adaptable (and 100% bolt-on) from the Dakota, to the Ram, to the Durango, and then over to the other models.
ToddW: Not until the complete kit is finished and we've got all of the "legal" angles covered as well.
Kota: There's no quesiton that Scott's truck is quick...but i've seen two trucks quicker than his. One was naturally aspirated as well (no blower or juice required).

Message: i know that high 12's is beatable. i was at kil-kare in xenia, ohio last week and raced my r/t. i met a guy there that had a rc r/t and he ran a best 12.47. he had pretty much all the bolt ons and nos. he thought he had put in the 100 nozzles but thinks he mistakenly put in the 150. you talk about launching, this thing hooked up like he had glue on the tires. i spun my for quite a ways up the track, need drag radials.

Message: Bernd, scott has not run the truck with his new setup. (SC'd 408 with nitrous) I think his truck will be verry hard to beat once he gets it dialed in, but you are right. there is always someone faster.

Message: I'm looking forward to seeing what everybody shows up with (Bernd, Tom and Scott Q. included) . There's no doubt that I'll get smoked by a number of R/Ts this year. That won't bother me any. I get beat everytime I go to the track. Like everyone knows - there's always somebody that's quicker. Although I probably won't get beaten as bad as some people might think.....
After checking what the probable temps are going to be..... I wouldn't be expecting any earth shattering times to be posted. When the racing starts the density altitude will be roughly 7200" altitude and it should drop to around 5500' by the time the night is over with. Which means that everyone will be carrying about a full 1 second penalty when racing starts. (Add 2 seconds if your best timeslip is from Cecil! hahahaha)
At this altitude and in the heat I will be happy if I can just keep it in the 13s!

Message: Duner....we need more mpegs like the one

hitting up the S-runner Delphi forum ; ) they
talk a lot of smack towards the dakota owners.
record some of those R/T spankin runs ! ! !
you ever think of running NOS with the turbo?
or is there enough tweeking left in the 4.7 to
make it faster?
