 Subject: IAT without MODS?

Will anything bad happen if I relocate the IAT without having any mods? Will it just be a waist of time without headers, TB, exhaust etc???

If nothing bad will happen, will I see an increase in power, what about MPG?

Just wondered if it help without any mods (yet).
