Subject: burning or leaking oils?
IP: Logged

Message:
i have been using synthetic motor oil now for a while. mobil 1. when it comes about
due for and oil change, my oil light dings when i hit the brakes. the oil pressure drops, i
get the warning light (check engine) then once im stoppped it returns to normal. im guessing its cause the oil is low and the enerchia of the oil moving forwards, takes the oil away from the oil pick-up.

now at first i thought i was burning oil (still might be) but also on my tranny i noticed
that there seems to be oil on the pan. is it possible that oil would be leaking through
the crank bearings?why would it be on my tranny? or could that be leaky tranny fluid?
does it turn very dark when its old?
