Subject: 4.7 HO dealer trouble
IP: Logged

Message:
My Local dodge dealer (After hours) called me today and said they were unable to provide me with any of the HO parts for the 4.7 due to warranty restrictions. He also stated that the cams will not fit on the original heads based on a new design and that the intake manifold is shaped differently and will not bolt properly to my block. I think hes full of crap and thought i would ask a better source. They dont even have a 4.7 HO i could take a look at. So im at a loss i could really use some new toys but till i find out the details im looking into a new bumper and bigger wheels.

Depending on your confrontation value I would go back to the same person who told you that crap and call him on it. And if you really want to get knockdown service from him tell him that your'e going to contact Chrysler and tell them just how honest and helpfull he was in answering all your questions and how that should increase they're
Five Star rating on that dealership:) How 'bout that!

Koller Dodge quoted me $110 on the HO intake manifold last week. I'd imagine they have a pretty good price on the cams too.

just ordered the intake today, he said all the
HO parts are in Detroit, so it would take 3 days
to get it...no biggie!

Thousand Oaks Chrysler/Dodge (California)

$161.00

CW: what about the gaskets for the manifold?
do they come on it already, I saw your one had
them in the picture...$16.00 each is way too
much. could'nt I just reuse the stock gaskets?

14,000 miles on the motor?
