Hi I am a happy owner of a '97 Dodge Dakota. I just recently purchased a new radio for my truck, however when I tried to install my new radio I have ran into a problem. The old radio has a wire which is essential in running my speakers, on the radio it is simply labeled (ant). I have no idea as to what this means and am unable to figure out how to hook it to my new radio. Any one who can help I would really appreciate it.

Ant means,, for power antena. this wire is usually hot when the radio is turned on so the power antena will go straight to the moon.If you have not a power antena this lead can be used to turn on a amplifier also.
