Looking to get Dakota owners, as well as other "American Manfucatured vehicals" to get a car club goin on in CT, meet up at the Berlin Turnpike, and overtake the ricers that have taken over, and make the pike what it used to be. Nothin but American Muscle. Not a rice patty.. Lemme know if your interested.

I'm from CT. To bad, you guys just missed a Dakota meet at Foxwoods a few weeks ago, alot of fun. If you interested there is a Mopar club in East Hartford called Mopars in Motion (moparsinmotion.com) I think. But I would be interested in joining a club, I live pretty close to the pike.
P.S. we would need a lot of people to take over the ricers, there's just too many.

What's up Ctdak! I never knew there was a lub in CT already! oh well.. Let's get another one goin! Granted there is alot of ricers on the pike, we can still get them, might take time, but as long as we show that we are still running strong, theres no way they are going to take over! I just popped on Mopars In Motion, and it looks like they are mostly at the bottem of the state. Checked out their Calender and alot of stuff at Glastonbury. Im up near Windsor Locks, so that's a little far from here, ya know. Look's like a cool club though. But I think we can get a really cool club goin on. Im gunna go down to Bart's in Windsor Wed night, they have car shows, see whats goin on down there, so if I can recruit some people! lol.. get this club goin!

That would be great. I have an address in Newington and in Glastonbury. Do you know a lot of people that own shops or do custom work to there vehicles? I've been looking around to find someone that can do some future work on my truck, it's a project truck that's had a little here and there done.

CTDak, Depending on what you want to do, I might be able to help you out. I know of a couple of guys that are into customs.. In fact my friend works for a parts store, and knows alot of mechanics that might do it. I will find out on that.
hifinz, no idea on shows at Foxwoods, if anyone knows of any, please post! that would be great!

The Foxwoods show is annual, so there isn't any more for dakotas this year. There may be other car shows, but I don't know of any. This year was the first year I attended the Foxwood show, but Chuck (intense99dak.com) has been there for a couple of years now. Check his website for pictures and his badass truck.
Nicholas, I looking for major modifications. Next spring I plan on either putting in a race 5 speed or a Viper 6 speed to replace my automatic. I might also put a different rearend and posi unit at that time.
