Don't know the part# to the cams. Just order them for a 2002 Jeep Grand with the 4.7 HO engine.

CW's correct JGC 2002, HO Powertech 4.7L
BTW, they are on back order, and will be for a while from what my dealer told me. Alex and Myself got lucky and actually received ours within a few weeks.

Hey C.W., you said that you moved the compressor out of the way for the install, did you have to break the a.c. lines loose or was there enough play to keep from that?

Yeah there is lots of play in the hoses to get the compressor out of the way.

Great! One more ? if you might know C.W. On one of the coil mounting studs on either side of the engine is some sort of transducer. They're not plugged into anything though. I tried to cross the p/n in the service manual but it's not listed. Any ideas? Thnx

Basically they are a capasiter that reduces RF interfearance. As far as I know they are mainly used on the Jeeps but I am pretty sure mine are plugged in.

Can't really say I have only put on 60 miles on it. I did try a couple of runs and the ET was the same but the MPH was about 2 mph higher. Basically feels better on the top end rev range of the engine. Throttle response feels like it is down some but the torque is still there. Before if I didn't short shift first it would feel like the power would fall off fast. Now you can feel it pull hard right to 5500 and beyond.

I have done some testing with it and as far as the ET is concerned nothing really showed. Maybe a tenth. My constancy has improved though ran a 14.93, 14.90, and a 14.97 all back to back. I should bracket race this thing and they say 5 speeds are not accurate. Remember this is at 3000 feet.
Anyways if it is a single mod you are looking for this isn't it. Combined with a throttle body and cams. I think would be good. The cams alone are still a better mod. I am going to keep it, as it also may be better with parts down the road.

Hey D, so the intake passages and overall size are no different. Look for surface finish differences or anything that would improve flow, ie size, smoothness. I want to do this with the cams, but if its the same, then maybe its a waste of $100. Keep us informed if you find anything worth buying it for.

More than likely it is the plenum volume and runner length. Something I can't tell without cutting them apart.

I dunno, I think the story was that some guy at
the Dodge dealership owed him a favor....so
he got the parts for cheap, so I doubt it. I know
he can get magnaflow mufllers for cheap, he
wants to take my Dynomax out, but I told him
no.
I will ask him though.

Update on the price for the HO intake. I actually paid $128.80(US). I had previously posted I paid $150. So, all together for the HO cams and HO intake I paid $244.80 (US).
