Subject: Tranny Help Please!!!??? (CW???) IP: Logged
Message: ok after i had my transmission rebuilt and had my shift kit put in (transgo tfod-hd2) it was prefect for like a month. a month later, it started shifting really early, and they kept telling me that nothing was wrong. I went to Bernd's shop and said that the TV spring that is installed in the tranny with the shift kit was possibly the wrong one or was possibly broken. so i went to my tranny shop, and after we had a free-for-all over it he finally dug into my valve body. well turns out that the TV spring was the right one, but the governor (spelling? sorry i'm tired) was litteraly broken in two pieces. after i get it back its even worse now. it shifts a 3000rpm at WOT!!!!!! they are telling me that the shift kit skrewed it up and that they will have to replace the valve body with a stock one. however, i checked my computer codes today and I am getting a no. 37 code. Could this be the problem??? what should I do???? also i just replaced the TV cable from the throttle body to the tranny, and put in my Mopar PCM, so it's neither one of those. I just don't know what to do next, and I would like to keep my shift kit if at all possible. Sorry for the novel people. Please help me if you can.
Here is what the code no. 37 is:
Transmission temperature sensor detected no temperature rise after start. **
or
Transmission temperature sensor voltage too low. **
or
Transmission temperature sensor voltage too high. **
or
Relationship between engine speed and vehicle speed indicates no torque converter clutch engagement. **
or
An open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solenoid control circuit. **
or
Park/Neutral switch stuck in park or stuck in gear. **
All help would be extremelly appreciated.
Thanx
Anthony
