Question. I am trying to find some of the cheaper end mods to do to my V6 Magnum 5sp. Thought about hedders but don't know if I will have to change anything out if I put them on. What do you guys think are some of the more simple things for me to do to beef up my performance???

A 48mm Billet Throttle body will improve throttle response. The 48mm outflows a stock V8 TB (a popular conversion for V6 owners), was designed around the V6 to improve torque/horsepower (more so than a stock V8 piece). Either way is an improvement over stock. I sell the F&B on my webpage www.socaldakota.com If you need more info, let me know!

If your really on a budget, here's what I recommend...

Air Intake System, either home-made or other
Relocate IAT to air intake tube
Adjust TPS voltage
Autolite 3923 Plugs
Port the Throttle Body yourself
Borg&Warner Cap/Rotor
8.5MM Spark Plug Wires (I went 9mm, nice blue JBAs)
High Flow Muffler (Flowmaster?)

Information on most modifications can be found at www.speedtweaks.net in their Tips and Tricks section, they also sell parts. As for the Throttle Body porting, check out www.fast4x4.net and look at his Tutorials. The Borg&Warner Cap/Rotor and Plug wires can probally be skipped, if you really want, but they do improve idle and throttle response slightly.

'00 RC Sport Forest Green, 3.9L, 5-speed 3.55, Hurst Comp-Plus Shifter, Clear-Corners, Speed-Glo gauges, Airaid Intake with relocated IAT, Autolite 3923s, Ported Throttle Body, Borg & Warner Cap/Rotor, Accel Coil, JBA 9mm Wires, JET Stage II

I have a 1988 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 and I was wondering what I could do to get more performance out of it. My friend told me to get a new throttle body, but I'm still debating. Thanks for any responses. PLEASE E-MAIL me if you have a response.
