 Subject: MIL light with intake

I have a 2002 QC 4.7. I made my home brew intake just like the one on this site:
modernmusclecars.net/articles/coldair/index.html and two days later when I start my car the MIL light shows. Could it be because of the intake?
IF I reset my PCM will the light go away?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanx
One more thing, will homebrew intake void my warranty?

put your old filter ass. back on and see if it
goes out. If not, drive it over to your dealer and
have em scan it. Wont void warranty if you swap it
out so they dont know....

You should find out which code is now popping up to determine if it's a direct problem with the intake, or perhaps you bumped something else during its installation.
Turn your key on/off/on/off/on and wait a couple of seconds, and a P#### code will appear, telling you which error it detected. There's a generic database over at www.dakota-truck.net (DML) which may have a listing for your error code, or you can post it here and people are usually quick to respond with which code you popped.
