1. put in a 180 degree t-stat, not the 160
2. ask harlow about the autolites :)
3. get good gas and dont go to mom and pop gas stations.

I like the Bosch Super in our Dak! They are 99 cents each @ AutoZone--can't hurt to try. Also the Bosch Plat+4 work good, but, the plugs listed for our Dak are too COLD--may work good in a modified engine! Just food for thought.

I'm running the autolites, they were about 1.19 a piece. One heat range cooler than stock from what I'm told, but help significantly to reduce pinging, detonation, and rough idles. All in all, I'm happy with the 3923 Autolites, they seem to be holding up a lot better than the stock ones (which wore out at 23,000 miles for me).

Same here Todd. I have a 00 RC R/T. I just put the Autolite 3923's, a set of 8mm Taylor spiro-pro wires, and the mopar performance distributor cap. Truck runs much smoother, idles smoother and seems to pull a little stronger in higher rpm's.

Nitro,

Yeah, I was really surprised when I got the kit finally put together. Before it had a lumpy idle when it was cold, that smoothed out somewhat as it warmed. Well, now it's just smooth just about all the time. I think I picked up a 50-100 RPM at idle too, it just seems to idle a -bit- higher. It's also just a bit more responsive to the throttle, which is nice.

How did your 8mm wires fit? My 9mm wires were a tight fit on the distributor cap, although I liked how the JBA wires 'click' into place.
