I did a few things yesterday. Got my BFG All Terrain T/A's in 265/70-16 put on (goodbye goodyears). Installed my Edelbrock IAS monotube shocks. Stiffer ride but more control, just like on my Ram.
I also put in Red Line MTL in the tranny and Red Line 75w90 gear oil in the rear end. Last but not least, I put in a Robert Shaw 180 t-stat. I honestly can't tell any difference in how the truck runs with the lower temp thermostat, better or worse. I guess you get the peace of mind of knowing the motor is running cooler. Oh yeah, changed the oil too. I'll go to a synthetic in a few thousand miles but for now I put in Castrol GTX 10w30 and a Mobil 1 filter.
