Subject: HOW MANY HORSES??? IP: Logged
Message: Hey...I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate on about how much horsepower im getting out of my truck with the current modifications i have on it.
I have a 1997 Ext. 3.9L V6 w/ flowmaster 40 dual exhaust, homebrew cold air intake w/ K&N 9 in. filter, and ive removed that rubber flap next to radiator (heard it helps?). I have speed grill also.
What do you think? What else could i do to give it a little extra push for not a whole lot of money...let me know what you think.

Message: Don't know HP wise, but you may want to look into either an IAT adjuster or just relocating the IAT sensor into your air intake. Also check out the TPS voltage mod, and if your feeling up to it, porting your TB. Of the three, porting the TB and the IAT relocation did wonders for me. :0)
For information on IAT and TPS: www.speedtweaks.net and 'tips and tricks'

Message: Well, stock horsepower is a pathetic 175 so i'd be guessing based on gains to the only car that i already know what certain things do to it. NEON.
i'd guess 190?
PS. How do you like your dual exhaust on the 3.9? I want to get rid of that tractor sound some how.
