Subject: Aftermarket clutch? (3.9L) IP: Logged
Message: Do any of ya'll have an aftermarket clutch in you Gen III daks? If so, what brand did you decide to go with? Would you recommend that clutch to another V6'er? Did the new clutch make your pedal harder to push down?

Message: With the stock clutch I find it easy to push down, but I have heard that when you install an aftermarket clutch the pedal get really stiff!

Message: I installed a ceter force dual friction in my Dak 4x4 that I sold a few days ago. I noticed no difference in pedal response or performance. That clutch was far more than I needed for the 5.2 but the price was right and I burned out the other clutch. I wouldn't upgrade to centerforce unless yours is allready gone. If it is the centerforce is the best clutch out there IMHO and resonably priced. I paid around $350.00 CAN.
Waiting for my 2001 black 4.7 RC Sport 5 speed 3:92 limited slip
