Message: If you mean the stock 15x8s, yes they will. I checked the database at www.tirerack.com, and they say the recommended rim with for 255/65/15 Scorpians is 7-9".

Message: Are they 5 or 6 lug wheels? The 6 lug wheels are (to the best of my knowledge) 15x8s.

Message: Not all the 15" 6lug wheels are 15x8. All of the gen II and GenIII wheels are six lug and they have made 15x8 in one style, 15x6.5 in two styles of steel and two syles of aluminum, and they have made 15x7's in two styles of aluminum and one of steel. There is also the new 16x8 aluminum and the 17x9 aluminum R/T wheel.

Message: Those listed abouve are all factory Dakota wheels, not aftermarket. I bet you can fir that tire on any of them, but the older 15.6.5's might be a little tight.

Message: You could look in the door jamb to see what wheels it came with but it's not always accurate, ours say's it has 15x6.5 and 215/75/15's wheels but it came with 15x8's and 255/65/15's.

Message: moparjoe20: That would be because your tires & rims were a dealer-installed package. One thing that I'd make sure of is that the dealer also programmed your CAB (Controller Anti-Lock Brakes) for the new tire size. If not, it will throw off your speedo and your ABS.
RossD: Check the tag inside your driver's door. If you are the first owner & haven't changed rims...and the dealer didn't change the rims as part of a dealer-installed package...you should be able to get the correct rim size. And if all else fails, you can always pull a tire off and measure it.
The 255/65/15's are roughly 28" tall x 10" wide. As such a 15x7 rim may work, but definitely would not be recommended--in fact, many tire shops wouldn't mount them for liability reasons. A 15x8 should work out pretty good though.

Message: My 01 QC 4.7 5spd was ordered and built with the tire and handling pack, 16x8 in. wheels.
But the sticker in the driver door says the 15in wheels and gives the tire press. for the 15's. I think the stock were 15x7's.

Message: So i looked at the sticker and it says 15x6 but i looked on ebay for the same stock wheels that people where selling and all of them said 15x7. If the recommended width is 7-9 is it sketchy putting then on 7" wheels or is that kosher??
